Here is a 20-minute Flash distillation of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It seeks to explain the book and the movie in a way I hadn't considered before, positing that Man had grown dependent on tools for evolution and how those tools became a deadly barrier to further growth.Huh. I thought it was about how minorities weren't allowed in space.
But I like the Flash-animated crib notes. Can a guide to Weekend at Bernie's be far behind?
