My friend of 15 years, Major Bob Macaraeg, is back in New Hampshire for two weeks to see his wife and two daughters. Then he is going back to Kandahar with the U.S. Army where he has spent the last seven months."It's nice to mow the lawn without worrying about getting hit by a rocket," he says. Then: "It's nice to have a lawn."
He is going to go to Wal-Mart and Hampton Beach.
